I'm pretty certain my drivers side of the rear beam is knackered, looking from behind, there's an obvious camber difference.
Can anyone tell me roughly how long it's going to last,is it in danger of collapsing completely?
Not had a saxo b4 so new to the common probs that come with these motors.
cheers

Jack up the rear end of the car. Get a good grip on the wheel/tyre and try to see how much you can move it. Forwards and backwards in particular, but also see how much it moves up and down.

Is it worse news if more movement forwards and backwards?
I did jack it up earlier,to have a quick look, moved it as if checking for a dodgy wheel bearing, and did feel some movement.
I'll have a better look tomorrow after work.
The wheel is definately leaning inwards though.
cheers bud.

I'd just get another rear axle, I had the same problem been driving for over a year like it you'll just get extreme wear on the wheel that's cambered more just a bigger cost in tyres you'll get a new axle for somewhere between £60-£100 and very easy to change

Depends what model you have to how much it costs. I managed to get a low mileage furio rear beam from a scrappies for £30 and then got new bearing kit to refurb it.
If you have VTR, VTS scrappies usually charge more cos of the disk brakes,

I think you will find it hard to find a good one forthe prices you are saying --going rate seems to be £150 ,as they are getting hard to find
