Check the aerial hole in the roof - remove the interior light by pulling it out, and remove the plastic out of the way and then put some silicon sealant around the hole / nut.

Also check the door rubber seals to make sure they arent split.

It's very common for the crank sensor wires to become damaged, as they're near the hot manifold and also exposed to rain etc.

Check the wires, from the crank sensor all the way back, and see if they have melted / frayed or pulled out of the socket.

Did you make any changes such as fit a CD player or anything?

Usually this will be leaking in where the roof ariel hole is.

Unclip the interior light, pull out the light fitting and behind it you will see a small nut where the ariel bolts through the roof. Get some silicon sealant all around the hole.

Otherwise, it could be the sunroof seal, but try the above first.

Regards,
Mike

How much is it? Anyone got feedback on it?

Its only £1.99 in the apple store. Its used on quite a few forums so depends how often you like to access forums from your mobile device.

Welcome to the site.

We have seen the body-kit era come and go, and these days its all about performance mods rather than the body kits. I suppose its each to their own.

Good luck with your Saxo project, they are great little cars, and for £700 you can't really go wrong with a VTS.

General Chat / Cost of a tank of petrol \'to hit £100\' by 2015
« on: 27, November, 2011, 11:48:52 AM »
Anyone looked at an LPG conversion?

I got a quote for a kit fitted to the C2 at £1200 fitted, or about £900 if you want to fit yourself. You keep the main petrol tank too and can switch between petrol & gas whilst engine is running.

So you can turn the gas on for motorway driving or normal commuting, saving you £££ on fuel costs but then if you need full power for overtaking, country lanes or trackdays, you can flick back to petrol.

Gas is meant to lose you about 5 - 10% power.

Has anyone here got any experience of using Gas?

Hi,

Its now out of season for the car shows. You don\'t normally have any shows through winter.

The main shows such as Trax, French Car Show etc are all June - Sept.
