Well this is a bit old-skool.

Got a DS3 150THP on a demo at the moment, goes back tomorrow.

Here are a few thoughts in no real order

Fast...
Handles well, plenty grip
Rides nicely
Steering accurate and weights up nicely at speed
Sat Nav is SHIT
Seats are good, but lairy looking
Brakes are good

Would go into detail but I\'m at work and pushed for time

Evening all. Spent most of the day on the GP Loop. Not a lot of crazy action out there but some hairy moments.

7D + Sigma 70-200EX or 120-300EX, occasional 1.4x TC use. Just resized and gently sharpened in Lightroom.

120hp/236lbs torque

It\'s ok. And that\'s about all.

Good bits:

Looks alright
Goes well, but you have to have it in D(ynamic) mode on the DNA switch - pointless shite.
Steering is direct but a bit stodgy
Handles well

Bad bits:

Cramped
Stupid driving position
Stupid boot
Stupid rear seats
Stupid cheap plastic dash
Stupid hard ride that throws you out of the flat hard stupid seats

If it had better seats it\'d be much err better.

It\'s an Alfa. It is inherently flawed.

I have a Fabia vRS SE which the Mrs is currently driving (waiting on a new company car for her);

and a Citroen C5 Tourer which is my company barge

Also got a LWB Citroen Dispatch with some goodies added for work.

No excuses for the shite quality of the above images.

Mine are great.

The 50-500 is a good bit of kit. It\'s not that fast (aperture not focus speed) at the long end though, so benefits from good light.

My mate Rob has one and he\'s happy with it, gets some great results

I edited it so the age of the car was right - 14 months not 24!

I wish this one had 20k service intervals, 12.5k ones are stupid.

It\'s been ok on fuel too, 48mpg for the whole life so far.

It\'s good across Europe too

24k in 14 months. Due it\'s 2nd service soon. 12,500 mile service intervals suck the donkey dong.

Problems? 4 bald Michelins. Replaced by Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3s. Nice and cheap at £145 a corner. lol

I have a cracked windscreen.

A few pics from the first couple of meetings of the year.

Britcar wasn\'t very exciting and I only did the Saturday for the MSVR Season Starter - disaster on the Sunday!

Not been online anywhere really, my pc died after 8 years of hard work so I finally got around to replacing it with some new fangled 3gb memory 64 bit Windows 7 malarky. Compared to my old one it\'s outrageous. The graphics card makes everything look awesome.

I\'ve also got no Photoshop CS3 - so these are quick edits using Photoshop Elements 2. Yes, 2. LOL

Kit is either 20D or 40D, with Sigma 120-300 + 1.4xTC or Sigma 70-200.

Exif is present too
