I.T & Computers Chat / Recovering deleted files
« on: 12, January, 2011, 23:39:17 PM »
Hey guys, long time no speak.

Long story short, my old man managed to delete some family photos and then delete them again from the recycle bin. The stupid bugger!

Any way to recover them without getting too techy?

Engines & Tuning / Exhaust question (bolts mainly)
« on: 03, July, 2010, 17:20:42 PM »
Right, been a while peeps.

had to replace my exhaust from the downpipe back as it has rotted through.

got a replacement but the holes on the mounting bracket are larger than the bolts that came off the existing exhaust.

Do I need an adapter of some sort? anyone know what exactly I need to ask for at the motor factors? product code?

General Chat / I want to be a traffic warden when I grow up......
« on: 23, March, 2010, 12:49:48 PM »
......No, not reallly

but what happened to the British sense of fair play???

On the street where I live there are two dropped kerbs, for all the time I have been here I will admit that I have seen people park here and parked there a few times myself as I was unaware that it was illegal.

These dropped kerbs do not lead on to drives or garages just the pavement.

However, the last few weeks have seen traffic wardens turn up and easily score two tickets per day!

While I do not condone the parking if it is in fact illegal but surely there must be a sign or at least some markings on the road????

This strikes me as simply not cricket!!!!

I can run the other 2 in the series and they have a similar spec, and this one is said to run smoother

I.T & Computers Chat / outlook express
« on: 16, January, 2010, 17:50:19 PM »
Despite repeated attempts to bring my dad into the 21st century he still insists on the using the POS outlook express!

A problem which has been made worse since we changed bb provider. Despite changing the settings on OE the  :c: thing wont send email and just receive it (as well as a host of spam picked up from his numerous excursions to mucky websites)

Please advice as his persistent nagging to me to fix it is driving me wild!
