a recap as i cant remember the last update on here.

i bought a Golf GTI this time last year, but at Christmas decided to get a Nissan Pathfinder, put the golf up for sale without much luck so i still have it!

in april i swapped the pathfinder for a 1999 Porsche 911.

last week the Porsche went and its replacement arrived! 2003 Evo VIII FQ300 with 75k on the clock and a few mods.

has most of the service history but has a few mods with no record of what they are or when they were fitted.

the brakes were warped when i picked it up, the previous owner supplied a set of cheapy discs and pads so we put them on at the weekend.

i\'ve ordered a new set of tyres (Vredstein Sessanta\'s) not cheap as they are 255/35/18\'s. wheels are getting refurbed this weekend and the new tyres put on, the car is getting a mop and valet and then its got 4wheel alignment booked for monday, ill get some decent pictures when its all done!

19kg omp multipoint weld in cage with front triangulation points and custom strut plates with additional roof bar, cross brace & harness bar

All wiring running to back of the car runs underneath so none on show
rubber fuel lines, also running under car.

Engine:
The engine originally came from my Green VTS, it ran a 14.8 at santa pod with lightly stripped shell.
it was fitted when the car was on 110,000 and the engine on 78,000.

During rebuild; so all parts have done no more than 200miles
Engine stripped back and head gasket replaced, head skimmed
Head Set fitted NEW
Cambelt Kit NEW
Starter Motor NEW
Group N Engine Mounts NEW
Lawn Mower Battery with Custom Tray Fabricated NEW
Full metal gear linkages NEW
Pipercross filter NEW
Power Steering Pump replaced approximately 5000 ago for a brand new (just before the rebuild)
Ashley Exhaust Fully welded, so comes off in one piece
also has an \"MOT system\" with an almost new Cat (only goes on once a year for its test)
GMC Heat Wrapped Manifold
Gti6 brakes with 283mm discs
ABS removed - VTR Master Cylinder fitted

106 Rallye 1.3 Gearbox with Quaife ATB Diff, rebuilt box with kit from GMC dureing rebuild

Suspension Front
Polyrace bushes on wishbones
Front wishbone mounts replaced with new
Rally design diy coilovers
Billstein Sport Shock Absorbers
Xsi front ARB

Suspension Rear
25mm rear ARB (Peugeot Sport)

Since its return to the road its done half a day at castle combe on track and a few local trips. i\'d guess 150miles tops!!

i think the brake servo and the remainder of the front struts are the only original parts from new!!
But breifly;

Im not bothered if it doesnt sell, if it stays it saves me a buying a coffin as i\'ll happily be buried in it

i wasnt going to put this up on here but as there has been a bit of passing traffic recently i thought i might aswell!!

since having the monkey in feb and forseeing the eviction from my office looming to make way for his shiny bedroom, i was away for the first bits of progress but everything has been done by Dan (one of the Macfitters) or me or both of us from nothing, none of this prefab rubbish

i\'ve just bought a 2.8 158bhp Long Wheel Base, High Top VW LT35.

been searching the net, but cant find any info about rough mpg, i know in something like that it will depend on weight and weight of foot...

after 18mths making do stuffing tools in the back of the navara and i\'ve bitten the bullet and it on. ive got a few other vans but none i would want as a daily drive tbh

was looking at the sportlines, but i realistically havent got the cash after losing over 15k on the navara. so...

hopefully on friday (if all goes to plan) i will have a 56plate t5 window bus, its basically a sportline with a 130bhp engine, instead of 174bhp everything was done by vw before it was originally sold. its a t32  so it carries the most weight (handy for carrying/towing) the spec i know of....

2x captain seats with arm rests rather than a driver seat and bench in the front
3 seats in the back with quick release
sliding side windows in the back
night heater
sat nav
factory sunroof
obviously all the sportline bits,
hatch boot
1 owner from new

fabric interior

paying 13k plus vat (full sportlines are 18k+++) which i didnt think was a bad price, its got some miles on it but im not worried.
