see if you take off the plastic trimin the boot , only 3 screws , do you have a solonoid , if so you maybe should have central locking , but be prepared for stuck solonoids , they dont like being left for long periods , but they can easyily be cracked open and oiled

what age of car have you got , my VTS doesnt have a 20sec dimmer

Lost me on this one ?

Ian

what part you get lost on?

The way i read it was he had central locking but wanted remote locking

I have brought a 2000 vts with standard alarm, and you can probably guess that after I lock it the alarm goes off.

After reading through threads on here it says to press the button on the dash next to the heater controls (im assuming its the green button) wait till the red light comes on and then lock the car.

However my alarm still is going off everytime. Any clues/advice?

Hard to say but i am in Coventry next week at tha Expo show
if that is any help

So basicly snip the wires before the bodged solder and bullet them all up? Would halfrauds sell them?

Cheers

They probably did the job in the first place  :?  :?  :?

Glove box is held in by 2 x push in plugs at each pivot point you will have to look right underneath to see them use a flat screwdriver to slide them out they can be tight
