  • Update -

Had a few parts delivered last week -

    35mm apex suspension

    Powerflex lower engine mount

    Exact braided brake lines

got the lower engine mount on last week.

Got the suspension fitted and lowered by rickyp-rpm

cleaned and undersealed the wheel arches (prevention is better than cure)

    pictures -

Ricky did an excellent job of lowering it, so happy with it now.

Also sprayed the rusty rocker cover silver and removed the sound deadening from the engine bay

Its due a full valet soon so will get some more pictures then.

    Future plans -

Have a sub and amp ready to go in

    Upper strut brace

    Fit brake lines

    mintex discs and pads

    cambelt will need doing soon

    repaint calipers red

    spray manifold heat shield

    exhaust hangers

Decided i\'m going to keep it for a few years then look at scoobies.

  • Get some 15\" wheels, I have some 15\" 306 xsi/s16 wheels on mine much better imo the standard wheels look gash lol but your car is very good looks like you got the lowering spot on, let me guess did you lower the front 35mm and rear 30mm? thats the best setup for less understeer and more positive turn in. Good luck with the project hoping to get mine lowered soon!

  • Been to cadwell park today to do a trackday.

Saxo was brilliant to drive, so much fun.

pics say more than words so -

Second to last session my driveshaft boot split and threw grease everywhere, so need to replace that.

Also want bigger brakes as i just about cooked them today and a bit more power
