  • its the brake wear indicator

when i had my brakes changed ( i was away from home, would usually do it myself) they didnt tuck the wiring back in and it then rubbed against the wheel and shorted

    I wouldnt worry

  • also, hold in your mileage reset button, turn the ignition on, hold it down until the countdown finishes

that resets your service light (gets rid of the spanner) and counts down from 12000

  • As already said.
Probably wear indicator cables not plugged in correctly.
1 brake pad has a longer cable than the other. If you put the pads on the wrong side of the disk it wont reach properly. Get them swapped around.

  • dunno what the button is, I never found it. Do any of you guys want an omp upper strut brace it adds at least 20bhp.

Ive now bought a gas guzzler, so the 406 is going to be going up for sale soon. if anyone wants wants the brace it supposedly helps with tyre wear on the 406\'s. 406 is going for £1250ono if anyne is interested.
