DUMP VALVES

This may be a daft question ,   but dump valves work because off a force off air that activates them yeah.


so why cant you cut a hole in the induction kit   ( pipe )   at the top and fit it in ?


i used to have a fiesta rs turbo and it just fitted in a samco hose i got with the car ....  i miss the noise and
want it in my vts now but aint spending £3000 plus on a turbo conversion ,  there must be a way round it -  surely.

Only way to get the proper sound is with forced induction. A dump valve vents the excess pressure generated by the turbo when the boost level drops quickly, preventing compressor stall.

You could get a fake dump valve kit (usually a loudspeak and bits to run it) such as this one but they sound rubbish and make you look a muppet as you don\'t have the real deal.
Failng that get a mate to sit the passinger seat and go VRooooooom Tishhhhhhh every time you change gear!!

So its impossible then ,  think i am gonna have to get a turboed car.

i bet in a few years time there will be technology that makes it work on non turbo cars
