look the vts is 16valve yeah, the vtr is 8valve you have dohc in a vts and sohc in vtr, therefore the 16valve produces more top end and the 8valve produces more acceleration which i call torque steer.

  • Hi,

for several months I had the airbag ligh on. Also the car had idling problems was idling too low and sometimes too high. Today I decided to remove the throttle body and give it a clean. The throttle plate and the icv had some black gum on them. So after about 15min cleaning I assembled the throttle body back into position and started the car to check if everything was working and it seem it is idling perfectly. The thing is here. The airbag light went off also ! Im not understanding how the throttle body was afecting the airbag light ! Can it be that because of gum deposit on the icv valve the stepper motor was shorthing or something and was affecting the airbag ?

    thanks
    ronald

  • Do you often move the seats? Connectors are under the seats come loose easily.
Less saxo then rallye, the original SALLYE.......Now with GTi added goodness.
