Hello to all saxo/106 fans!
Bought the car 1.5 years ago - 2000 VTS mk2 with about 60 000km on the clock. The car originally came from Japan with left handed steering wheel and left-sided headlights
It was modified a little:
powerflex allround, full exhaust (4-2-1 + Supersprint backbox), uprated open type air filter, upper & lower OMP strutbraces, OMP steereing wheel, Sparco bucket, harness, b4 rear dampers, oe front dampers
I changed the rear b4 on oe peugeot and put on oe air filter and air intake.
There also came some stupid TA-Tecnix front dampers Bilstein Gr.N rear on solid bushings (sic!) with the car. Never installed them though...
On my second summer I installed new suspension bits:
180lbs faulkner springs, 24mm rear ARB, 20mm TBs and Bilstein Gr.N dampers.
The setup is awesome especially on semislicks.
Really love the car, it\'s reliably, pretty cheap to own, the 14 and 15 tyres are no so expensive also and the main thing - IT IS SUPER FUN to drive/race!
Plans for this summer:
743 cat cams, new 4-2-1 mani as mine burned out, K&N panel filter, predator ECU+mapping, may be some stripping and moving the battery to the rear.
